The HappyCavy webcams and Guinea Pig Treat Machine went offline on April 8, 2024.
EDIT 03/14/2011: The mouse guest was apprehended today. Live broadcasts have resumed on all 3 guinea pig webcams.
Earlier today a fan alerted us through our Facebook Fan Page to something she saw on the webcams. Thanks, Angela!
Shortly after Angela’s comment, The Humans reviewed the webcam footage and found evidence of a mouse intruder. Needless to say, The Humans are taking this situation very seriously.
The webcams will be offline until The Humans are able to take care of this super-weird situation.

This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen
This is funny for us to watch, but not to funny for the humans I’m sure. I have seen mice eat the food on Ecki F channel in Germany, but they are outside!! Good Luck
Aww the mouse is so cute!
Makes me wonder what is going on in my guinea pigs cage when I’m not home.
A pet for the guinea pigs, perhaps?
This is the craziest thing, it’s so funny to watch.
Haha that’s too weird! On a different subject, I have a couple of questions. First is: Where did you get the webcams and how much were they? Second is: Where did you get that wire hay feeder? I’ve seen them in petstores and in other peoples cages, but despite my looking EVERYWHERE for them, online and in stores, I cant find it! I’ve just been giving them they’re hay iin a large cardboard tube. Thanks, see you later!
My humans purchased the webcams online, they were each around $20 USD. They also made the hay holder out of coroplast and a C&C cage grid – my humans are really handy! They bent the cage grid into the shape you see, used coroplast for the sides and back, and connected it all together with zip-ties.

This is like watching a horror movie for us guinea pigs. We love our food, and would be extremely upset if a mouse ate it. Especially if they ate our carrots!
