So sorry for you. Buttercup was such a sweet, friendly guinea pig. She deserves to run happily in the lush meadows over the rainbow bridge. We will remember her.

It is so sad when one of our Piggie friends leaves us for Piggie heaven. I have experienced it more times than I have wanted. I am so sad for you but then I think of Buttercup who now has no tooth troubles and is reunited with Dot and the others who are happy to see her again.

I’m looking at this, I went to the top of the page and when I saw the wings and halo, I started crying, tears were rolling down my cheeks. I’m so sorry, she was a beautiful girl, I mean I knew it had to come, but it came too soon. I was beginning to think everything would be ok, but I guess she is up with her sisters now, I hope Feebee, Winnie, and Rosie are ok. Send them my condolences. Gryffindor and Hufflepuff give out a sad squeak and some chirrups for her safe journey to the Rainbow Bridge. -Donovan Eady.

Thank you so much, Donovan. We kept thinking the same thing — that she will get better and life would go on.

You are so sweet to think of Feebee, Winnie, and Rosie during this time. Feebee is rather listless, missing her companion. Time can heal a lot of wounds, and we hope this is the case with the loss of Buttercup and Feebee’s best friend.

Thanks for being such a good friend <3

I hope Feebee is ok.I’m so sorry for you, Buttercup was a lovely guinea pig. At least on the rainbow bridge she will be healthy again. Her smile and her bubbly personality will be remembered always. Rest in peace little Buttercup, rest in peace

How did she die, in terms of did you put her to sleep or did she just go off to the Rainbow Bridge by herself?

I am so sorry to hear of your baby’s passing. I lost my baby boy a week ago to ongoing problems with his molars. I know you tried everything possible, as did we. TT and Pete wheek their condolences and send your entire family/herd piggie hugs and kisses.

Here are my two, Squeaker and Shadow, they send many nose rubs to Feebee and the HappyCavy family. It’s hard but just remember she is no longer in pain.
