I wish all our fuzzy and human friends a very Happy New Year!!
This day does come with some sad news for us. Piglet passed away yesterday due to complications from bloat. She is missed a whole bunch, but I am sure she is happy where she is – running in fields of fresh grass and dandelions to munch on. The 3 webcams will resume broadcasting Hammy and Bitsy’s life again Jan 3rd after the herd has had time to grieve for our loss 🙁
Have a safe and happy New Year…and if you feel compelled, have a sweet snack or two (or a drink if you’re a human friend) in memory of our beloved Piglet.

Thanks for your sympathies 🙂 But don’t be sad, Piglet had a wonderful life and the best of care at the HappyCavy Forever Home, even if we miss her still to this day.
