Video: Build Me Up, Buttercup

What an awesome summer, we can’t believe it’s almost gone!

Thanks for all the messages you sent asking where we’ve been these past few months. You guys are the best! Basically, this summer was spent getting plenty of sunshine and munching on yummy vegetables from the human’s garden.

As the days get shorter and cooler, we’ll have a lot more time to connect with our awesome friends (fuzzy and human) on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Flickr.

Until then, we’ve compiled a Buttercup video from random footage from this summer. Enjoy!

I like when Buttercup comes close to it, then she backs up and runs away. My guinea pig, Juliet, sniffs it, realizes it isn’t food, starts to wheek. XD

Just discovered your site!  Love the pigs. I have one myself… she’s a little special. Walks crooked because of a disease she had when she was younger. However, probably one of the friendliest pigs I’ve ever had!

Hmm, I don’t really know. Unless your piggie is showing other symptoms of illness, it’s probably not a big deal. Of course you can always call your local exotics vet and see what they say. My hunch is that it’s just your baby cavy growing up! 🙂

Sorry for bothering you AGAIN, but I have another problem. My two female guinea pigs are fighting. They’re from the same breeder, same litter, been together since birth. They’ve just been having little scuffles from time to time, but when we were doing floor time, one of them attacked the other, and when I tried to separate them, she bit me hard. I thought females weren’t supposed to show aggression? Oh and thanks for answering last time! I asked an expert and she said it shouldn’t be a problem. Her ears still turn red when she excercises.
