Metal storage grids can be found at local big-box stores like Walmart, Costco, and Target. We purchased our grids at Target. It’s imperative for your guinea pig’s safety that you only purchase grids that have 9 holes across each side (see what a 9×9 grid looks like). Some newer packages of grids contain 8×8 and 5×5 grids which may be potentially dangerous for your piggie due to the larger hole size.
Coroplast is like plastic corrugated cardboard. It is water-resistent and perfect for the behavioral needs of guinea pigs (if you know what I mean). It is easy to keep clean and sturdy enough to keep its shape for a long time. You can find coroplast usually at art supply stores and sign stores. In fact, we used Fast Signs to buy our coroplast. We paid $30 for a 8 ft by 4 ft sheet of coroplast.

We live in the State of Oregon in the Northwest United States.
The climate is mild. This means that our winters are wet and rainy and our summers are hot and dry.
In the summer, we try to keep cool. In the winter we like to snuggle with our humans and relax in our pigloos.
